JAMMU, Mar 18: A deputation of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum led by State president, Vinod Sharma called on Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu at Civil Secretariat, Jammu, today.
While interacting with the Finance Minister, Sharma putforth the burning issue of release of pending SSA salary. He said that regularized ReT Teachers under SSA in all the districts are without salary for last 4-10 months and are facing a lot of problem to meet out their basic family needs and urged him to release the salary grants under SSA for the welfare of thousands of ReT Teachers of the State.
Drabu after listening the deputation patiently, assured to take up the matter with the Central Government for early release of SSA salary so that they may not suffer any more.
Others who were in the deputation included Rajesh Singh Jamwal, Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Lekh Raj Parihar, Bhushan Khajuria, Ravinder Singh, Sukesh Khajuria and others.
