JAMMU, Apr 24: Monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma for discussing the issues of ReTs.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Sharma urged the Education Minister to issue formal direction to the Education Department on his recent decision of regularizing the ReTs having distance mode degrees issued by UGC recognized universities. He also expressed his anguish over the slow pace of regularization process by Director School Education Jammu thus making ReTs to suffer.
He appealed the Director to look into the matter personally for the welfare of the ReTs and don’t force them to come on roads.
The ReT Forum also appealed the Government to take necessary steps for the release of SSA salary, which is pending for last 4 to 6 months.
The meeting was attended by Rajesh Jamwal, Najam Jafri, Sukhdev Singh, Naresh Sharma, Sajad Malik, Gulzabir Daing, Manzoor Khan, Subash Chander, Manzoor Malik and others.
