UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: A monthly meeting of Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum was held here today under the leadership of State president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by the delegates of Forum from all the eleven zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma strongly demanded the immediate release of salary of last 4 months of 41000 teachers of the State as per 7th Pay Commission besides de-linking of the same from MHRD to State budget.
He said that due to non implementation of Government decision, teachers are facing a lot of problems to meet their both ends. He claimed that during the meeting with TJAC leadership, Advisor had assured to implement the decision of the Government in letter and spirit and get the final nod in next SAC meeting.
He further said that the Forum was waiting till next meeting of SAC and next course of action would be announced the same day.
Lekh Raj Parihar, while speaking, appealed the Director School Education Jammu to initiate the regularization process of ReTs who have completed 5 years of satisfactory service and waiting for the same for a long time.
Others, who also spoke on the occasion, included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Pritam Goswami, Balbinder Singh, Sandeep Sharma,Vipin Sharma, Sushil Singh, Viney Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Anil Sharma, Som Raj, Parshant Sharma, Raj Pathania and Vandna.
