RAJOURI, Jan 24: Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-Talim Teachers Forum has threatened to file a contempt suit against Education Minister Naeem Akhtar for his purported opposition to the transfer of ReTs.
Talking to media persons, here today, the JKRET leader Aftab Tantray strongly criticized the statement of Education Minister over transfer of regularized ReTs, which is contradictory to the High Court judgement in this regard. “We are going to file contempt of court against the minister if the Government does not implement HC order,” he said.
Jahangir Alam Khan, Majeeb Malik and Asif Chowdhary, who were also present in the press conference, alleged that the Education Minister creating un-necessary controversies to divert attention from other issues of the ReTs, particularly release of their salary and regularization. They also threatened an agitation over their issues.
Raja Shakel Kamlak, Maroof Qazi, Shakooor Chowdhary, Naresh Sharma , Sunil Sharma, Sandeep Kumar, Saleem Malik, Shabir Chowdhary, Shafiq Chowdhary and Balwant Singh were also present in the press conference.
