JAMMU, Nov 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) has threatened stir if the Government does not issue orders of regularization of EV-Converted ReTs of various districts of Jammu province by ending of this month.
In a statement, JKReTTF State general secretary Jahangir Alam Khan lambasted the irresponsible attitude of authorities for creating a volatile situation for scores of EV-Converted ReTs and Surplus whose regularization files are awaiting confirmation from last two years. Khan said that these teachers are serving the department from last nine years with dedication but their files are gathering dust in Jammu Directorate and in many CEO offices. Their families are grappling with odds and the financial constraints have worsened their domestic life, Khan said and added that many EV-Converted (Surplus Category) ReTs are awaiting regularization from four years and they are being denied even their monthly honorarium of rupees three thousand, which is shameful on the part of DDOs.
He warned that if the authorities fail to regularize these teachers by the end of November, JKReTTF will mobilize all the resources for putting pressure on the Government. “We will be compelled to hit the streets if their woes are not addressed by this month”, he announced.
