ReT Forum threatens to intensify stir against screening

JAMMU, Aug 9: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a meeting under the chairmanship of its State President Vinod Sharma and State general secretary Najam Jafri in which executive members of State body participated and chalked out strategy to intensify their stir from August 18 both at Jammu and Srinagar against the unjustified move of the Government to screen all the ReTs there by harassing the ReT community.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma said that the Education Minister has been harassing the ReT community by giving controversial statements against ReT community.
He said that the Minister has been defaming the 65000 ReTs by calling them unqualified and possessing of fake degrees.
“Minister is misusing the court judgment by choosing only ReT Community in which it was asked to the Government to screen those ReTs /Teachers (Gen. Line) who possess degrees obtained by tuck shops (Fake Universities) but he is choosing only ReT community”, he added.
Najam Jafri appealed all the ReTs of the State to participate in the protest demonstration at Jammu and Srinagar in large on August 18 by locking their schools and availing mass casual leave to save the dignity of ReTs.
Among others who spoke were Sukhdev Singh, Rajesh Singh, Younis Rahi, Lekh Raj Parihar, Sajad Malik, Naresh Sharma, Gul Zabir Daing, Manzoor Khan, Subash Chander, Surjeet Singh, Ravinder Singh, etc.
