ReT Forum urges Govt to speed up regularization process

UDHAMPUR, May 1: Monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of  State president Vinod Sharma and district president  Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by a large number of delegates from all 11 Zones.
While speaking on the occasion,   Vinod Sharma highlighted the issue of regularization of Distance Mode degree holders and KGBV Teacher. He said that Education Minister and MoS Education have assured to regularize all the distance mode degree holders of UGC recognized Universities but still the process has not been initiated and the teachers are suffering. He appealed the Directorate School Education Jammu to speed up the regularization process and settle the minor issues at the Directorate and unnecessary objections may be ignored. He also demanded the regularization of left over cases and less enrollment files as already agreed by the Director.
The ReT Forum also  appealed the State Govt to resolve the chronic issue of SSA salary which is pending for last 4 to 6 months and there is also a huge pendency of arrears of these teachers, who are suffering a lot as they are helpless to provide the basic needs to their families. The meet  urged the Government  for the streamlining of the same for the welfare of thousands of ReTs / Masters (under SSA) of the State, otherwise they will be forced to come on roads.
