RAMBAN, June 1: A meeting of All J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers’ Forum was held today under the chairmanship of its district president Gulzabir Daing to discuss their demands.
During the meeting the speakers highlighted various demands of ReT teachers including a fair transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers and inclusion of five years of ReT period in their service record for promotional benefits.
While speaking, Daing lambasted the State Government for ignoring the demands of ReT teachers. He said that Government must consider the demands of the ReT teachers without any delay, which otherwise will arouse anger in the employees.
He said that it is the responsibility of the Education Department and the Government to solve their grievances and fulfill genuine demands.
