ReT Teachers Forum highlights demands, expands State body

JAMMU, Nov 15: Expanding its State body portfolios, the J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum today announced new office bearers and their designations.
Along with newly appointed office bearers, the State president of ReT Teachers Forum, Vinod Sharma addressed a press conference and highlighted the grievances and demands of the cadre. (Click here to watch video)
He demanded a comprehensive Transfer Policy for Regularized ReTs, streamlining of SSA salary and release of pending arrears of regularized ReTs,  regularization of ReTs having distance mode degrees from all the UGC recognized universities and those having less enrolment, inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits, enhancement of honorarium of ReTs up to Rs 15000 per month,  SRO 43 benefit in favour of ReTs during 5 years ReT period, etc.
Announcing expansion of the State body, Vinod Sharma disclosed that  the posts of senior vice-president and senior vice-chairman have been given to  Parvez Iqbal and  Najam Jafri, respectively while Reyaz ur Rehman  has been appointed as
Vice-chairman and  Gulzubair Daing as vice-president.
Sukhdev Singh Sumbria has been appointed as chief coordinator, Ashiq Rasool as chief spokesman,  Qazi Tasleem as chief organizer, Naresh Sharma as chief spokesperson, Sham Sharma as chief press secretary, Mohd Amin Budgami as chief advisor, Arvind Sharma as chief advisor, Sukesh Khajuria as secretary council, Azad Hussain as secretary council, Ravinder Singh as finance secretary, Peer Siraj as finance secretary, Rinku Sharma as special secretary, Tufail Masroor as chief publicity secretary, Raj Kumar Dubey as convenor, Hamiet Wani as joint secy, Fayaz Ahmad Shah and Shabir Chowdhary as coordinator, Rishi Singh and Fida Hussain as organizer, Shabir Ahmad Tantry as press secretary, Bashir Ahmad Sofi as joint secretary and Khurshid Budgami as publicity secretary.
