RET teachers hold monthly meeting

UDHAMPUR, June 3: All J&K RET Teachers Forum today urged the chief minister for early redreseel to their demands, so as to raise the literacy rate of the State.
A monthly meeting of the forum was held under the chairmanship of its State president Vinod Sharma, in which RET and EV teachers from all the zones participated.
While speaking, Vinod Sharma, State president, of the forum, highlighted the demands of RTEs and EVs.
He demanded regularization of EVs as general line teachers, who have completed their seven years since march 2010, inclusion of 5 years rendered service of RETs for seniority benefits, implementation of Government order No 115 dated 29-2-2008 for old pension scheme in favour of RETs engaged before 1-1-2010, implementation of Government order for enhancement of wages of RETs as announced in the assembly session, transfer policy in favour of regularized RET teachers and provision of SRO 43 in favour of RETs and EVs.
Among others present were Lekh Raj Parihar, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Sukdev Singh, Ravinder Singh, Parmod Sharma, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Vipin Sharma, Sushil Singh, Rakesh Salaria, etc.
