ReT teachers meet Comm Secy

JAMMU, Aug 24: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum led by its (Forum’s) State President, Vinod Sharma today met Commissioner Secretary School Education, Sarita Chauhan at Udhampur during her visit.
Interacting with Chauhan, Vinod Sharma-Forum leader raised the issue of Teachers Grade-III, release of salary of NPS teachers, release of salaries of ReTs and RReTs since March 2019, allotment of treasuries and respective codes in favour of newly upgraded High and Higher Secondary Schools as staff of these schools are without salary since March 2019.
Conversion of left out teachers to teachers grade II having degrees from outside State universities was also demanded.
The Commissioner Secretary said that orders of Teachers Grade III will be issued after issuance of an SRO regarding amendments in recruitment rules. Regarding the salaries of NPS and others she said that the matter has already been taken with the Finance Department and it’s hoped that funds will be released soon.
Latter on the Forum also met DSEJ Anuradha Gupta and SPD SAMAGRA Arun Manhas who accompanied the Commissioner Secretary Education and requested for the regularization of ReTs and release of pending salary under SSA.
Others who were present in the deputation were Ashok Seth, Sandeep Sharma, Sushil Singh, Vipin Sharma, Ganesh Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar and others.
