JAMMU, Jan 25: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was today held at exhibition ground here under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and provincial president Rajesh Singh. The meeting was attended by executive members of the Forum.
Addressing the meeting Vinod Sharma highlighted the grievances of ReT teachers which includes release of several months SSA salary and salary of third teachers from 2 to 3 months. He said that regularized ReT teachers under SSA or without salary for last 4 to 10 months in different districts and are facing a lot of problems to meet their both ends. He said that even salary of 3rd teachers is pending for 2 to 3 months which is a great concern
He appealed the Governor N.N. Vohra to personally intervene and make provision of funds for the smooth release of SSA and 3rd teachers salaries.
Others who spoke in the meeting were Sukh Dev Singh, Younis Rahi, Raj Mohan Singh, Sham Sharma, Bachan Singh, Lekh Raj Parihar, Joginder Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Subash Chander, Ravinder Singh, Sukesh Khajuria, Pramod Sharma, Bhushan Khajuria and Balwan Singh.
