RAJOURI, Oct 15: Retired Police personnel discussed their issues in a meeting held here today.
The retired cops under the banner of Ex-Policemen Welfare League in a meeting held under the chairmanship of O P Sharma (Retd Inspector), demanded 15% reservation in recruitment quota of police personnel and retirees. They also stressed that the ailing and poor cops be provided financial assistance and there should be provision in the Police Welfare rules for medical re-imbursement bills in respect of retired police personnel. For marriage of daughters, the cops should also be helped.
