RAJOURI, July 6: Retired Police Personnel Forum district Rajouri unit projected demands of the retired policemen.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today under the chairmanship of district president OP Sharma, the speakers demanded one rank one pension for the policemen on the pattern of Army, 15 % reservation for the wards of policemen in Police jobs, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month, grant of Rs 50,000 to next kin of the retired police personnel at the time of his/ her death for performing last rites and Rs one lakh at the time of marriage of daughter’s of policemen out of Police Welfare Fund and remove pay anomalies in the grade of Head Constables and ASIs who retired from service after January 1996.
