JAMMU, Aug 17: Jammu and Kashmir Prisons Retired Employees Welfare Association has reiterated long pending demand and asked for early redressal, here today.
The meeting, under Krishan Singh, president, PREWA, has asked the State Government to look into their grievences, miseries and woes and its redressal amicably. The demands include framing welfare rules on police pattern, constitution of welfare board as envisaged in the jail manual.
He also highlighted the demands like merger of 50% DA in basic pay pension, setting up National pay commission to review pay pension and perks as per present day needs and other allied demands.
