JAMMU, July 23: Jeevan Sharma, retired Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) from J&K, today joined National Conference during a function held at Party headquarters, Residency Road here today.
Sharma joined the party in presence of former minister and additional general secretary of the J&K National Conference, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Provincial president of the party for Jammu Division, Rattan Lal Gupta, former minister and party’s Central Zone president Babu Ram Paul, district president for Jammu Urban, Chander Mohan Sharma and several other senior and middle rung leaders of the party.
While speaking on the occasion, Sadhotra welcomed Jeevan Sharma into the party fold and hoped that with his support the party will be strengthened in Jammu. Provincial president R L Gupta also welcomed Sharma in the party besides others, and garlanded him profusely. They assured full support and cooperation to Sharma for carrying out party activities in Jammu area.
