JAMMU, July 4: The retired employees of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) have not been provided the benefits of Seventh Pay Commission till date though it has been implemented in all Central Government organizations last year.
Terming it a total discrimination with them, the retired employees in a statement here, today said that they are still waiting for the implementation of recommendations.
The retired employees said that they have also been deprived of DA installment till date while the serving employees of CSIR have been paid both DA installment as well as revised Pay benefits. In an appeal to Union Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Harshwardhan they have sought his immediate intervention in the matter saying that the retired employees deserve proper care and attention from Government as their expenses increase many fold on account of old age.
