JAMMU, May 6: A meeting of executive members of Food Corporation of India Retired Employees’ Welfare Association (FCIREWA), J&K region was held here in the premises of Regional Office of the Corporation to discuss the pension issue of the employees.
The State Committee of FCIREWA urged upon the National Committee to further create pressure on concerned authorities regarding pension issue of Central Public Sector Enterprises.
The recent ruling by Kerala High Court, as upheld by Supreme Court of India due to solo efforts of FCIREWA, was also highlighted in the meeting by Rajinder Gupta, Regional chairman and Kanchan Singh, Regional general secretary.
They also appealed all members of FCIREWA to fill up membership forms and also application forms for revision of pension under Employees Pension Scheme 1995.
