JAMMU, Nov 4: The retired employees of Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) in a meeting here, today expressed grave concern over the callous attitude of the Bank Management and accused it of not addressing their justified issues and demands.
The meeting alleged that the employees who have superannuated from the Bank have not been paid their salary arrears with gratuity, leave salary dues etc.
Despite a lapse of more than three months and consistent pleas to the management by them nothing has been done by Bank till date. Such a callous attitude towards the employees and their families’ who are leading an exiled life for last 26 years, deserves all condemnation the meeting said, adding a humanitarian attitude needs to be adopted for mitigating their problems by the bank authorities.
Expressing their serious concern the members have warned the authorities to settle the problems immediately failing which they will be forced to launch agitation and management will be responsible for the same.
