UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: A meeting of Retired Police personnel Non-Gazetted Officers Forum was held under the leadership of Pawan Singh, president of the Forum at Dabar Park, for highlighting the issues and demands.
The speakers in the meeting highlighted their demands which included removal of pay anomaly in the pay of Head Constables and ASIs, enhancement of Medical Allowances from Rs 300 to 3000, 15 percent reservation for the wards of retried police personnel during recruitment in Police Department, Rs 50,000 financial assistance at the time of marriages of children of the retried police personnels, Rs 50,000 financial assistance at the time of death of retried police personnels for last rites and one rank one pension in the Police Department on the pattern of other Belt Forces.
In his address, president of the Forum expressed that the members should have to prepare for a long struggle to get their demands conceded.
