JAMMU, Dec 13: Monthly meeting of Retiree Police League was held here today under the chairmanship of S Karanjit Singh, DySP Retd who is Jammu district President of the League.
Large number of retired Police officers, including IPS Ch Chirag Din, former SSPs, SPs, DySPs and others, including Ranjit Singh, Amzad Mirza, Mahandeep Singh, Prabhdyal Sharma, Sardar Khan, Ashok Bhagat, V S Kundal, Ch Gulzar, S R Datta , Mukesh Kumar, Daljit Singh, Mohan Singh, B L Kaul, Bihari Lal, Khalil Ur Rahman, Shamsher Singh Parihar, Parshotam Bali, Pritam Singh Jamwal, Pritam Singh Jasrotia, Vijay Chowdhary, Vijay Khajuria, Mohd Sadiq, Satpal and Soba Ram participated in the meeting.
The demanded provisions of free medicines for retirees as most of them are regularly taking life saving medicines, Zonal level meeting of all retirees of Police, providing office for welfare of retirees of Police personnel, starting a monthly magazine of Police retirees.
SP City Kulbir Honda, DSP Parvez Ahmed, Incharge GO Mess also attended the meeting and listened to different issues of the retirees.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Retirees Police League, led by Karanjit Singh met ADGP Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh and apprised him of their issues.
