Retirees accorded warm farewell

JAMMU,  Oct 31: Large number of Government employees who attained superannuation today were accorded warm and affectionate send off by their officers and colleagues at their respective places of posting.
Additional District Development Comissioner, Reasi, Bikram Singh Jamwal, was accorded a warm and affectionate send off by the staff of Rural Development Department on his retirement on superannuation today. District Development Commissioner Reasi Shahid Iqbal Choudhary lauded the services of Jamwal, who earned name and fame by the dint of his diligence, commitment and exemplary devotion towards his duties.
Susheel Sharma, Section Officer, Directorate of School Education was given a warm send off by officers and officials of the Directorate and all wished her a happy and healthy post retirement life.
Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union held a function to bid farewell to Assistant Registrar K K Nanda and Assistant Librarian Kundan Lal who retired after attaining age of superannuation. Sunil Sahi, president and Manoj Chauhan, general were among others present on the occasion, besides other office bearers of the union.
Senior trade unionist and president Non-Gazetted Employees and Workers Association and Chairman NTUF, C L Sangotra was accorded a warm farewell at a function by the officers and officials of Floriculture Department at a function presided over by Director KK Sharma and other senior officers.
Directorate of Health Services Jammu organized a function to bid farewell to Kamal Kishore Anand, Head Assistant, who attained superannuation today. Director Health Baljeet Pathania praised the services rendered by the retiree for his hard work, dedication etc. He wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
Kulwant Singh Chowdhary, Sr PA to Generaql Manager, Hotel Ashok Jammu, was accorded a warm and affectionate send off by the officers and colleagues. All wished him a happy and healthy life after retitrement.
Warm send off was accorded to ASI Rattan Lal, by DIG Traffic Jammu and other ranks of Traffic Range Jammu, in which qualities of professionalism were lauded. He was wished a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Ravi Shanker, Section Officer (Accountant), Treasury Office, Additional Treasury, Talab Tillo Jammu, was given an affectionate send off on his retirement after rendering 31 years and eight months services. He was appointed in1980.
A farewell function was organized by the staff and students of Government High School, Kaluchak, in honour of Saristha Sharma, Headmaster, who has the distinction of being conferred President’s Best Teacher Award in 2010. Director School Education Tushar Kanti Sharma applauded the efforts of retiree Headmaster for her dedication as an educationist and a social worker. Others who spoke on the occasion were Vijay Laxmi, Tripta Sharma, Sudesh Kumari and Anupama Slathia.
Babu Ram, a clerk in Citizens Cooperative Bank, R S Pura branch, was accorded a warm and affectionate send off at a simpe function here today. He served the Bank for more than 21 years.
An emotional farwell function was organized by the employees of Joint Directorate of Information on superannuation of Script Writer Nagar Mal. Deputy Director Information Public Relations, Jyoti Slathia, DDI Afshan Masood  among other officers were present on the occasion. All wished a happy and prosperous post retirement life to Nagar Mal.
Som Nath Bhat ‘Sanam’, Master, Government Mixed Higher Secondary School,Durga Nagar, Jammu, was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on his attaining age of superannuation today.
Meanwhile ASI Updesh Kumar PID No. EXJ755800 who retired from Police Department after serving for 38 years in the department with zeal and dedication was seen off by the officers and officials of DPO Reasi with warmly farewell.
