JAMMU, June 29: Anil Kumar Arora, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Jammu along with other retiring officers namely SR Dogra, Research Assistant in the office of Divisional Soil Survey officer, Jammu and Budhi Singh, Section Officer, Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu were given a very warm and affectionate send off here at Krishi Bhawan today.
Anil Kumar Arora retired from Government service after putting in more than 37 years dedicated services to the farming community in different capacities in the Department of Agriculture. Director Agriculture, Jammu, PS Rathore in his address, lauded the sincere services rendered by Arora, Dogra and Budhi Singh in the department and wished them a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to retiring officers and staff of the department from other districts as well namely Chain Singh, JAEO Udhampur, Lal Chand, JAEO Dayalachak, Nahar Singh, JAEO Ramnagar, Som Dutt Sharma, JAEO CAO Kathua, Ashok Kumar Choudhary, Field Assistant-II, Udhampur and Kaka Ram, Beekeeper, Kathua.
Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kargil Tashi Tundup was accorded a warm and affectionate send-off on his superannuation at an impressive farewell function today. Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner Central GST Division Srinagar Safdar Ali, Additional DC Kargil Sonam Chosjor, SDM Sankoo Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, Deputy District Election Officer Kargil Nargis Banoo, other senior officers of the District Administration attended the farewell party. The speakers while highlighting the rich contribution of Tashi Tundup for the development of the district, wished him a cheerful, happy and prosperous life ahead.
In a simple but impressive function organized today, all ranks of CID SB Jammu gave a warm send off to Sub-Inspectors (SIs) Hushyar Singh, Vijay Kumar and Ghulam Nabi who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. The function was graced by Randeep Kumar, SSP CID SB Jammu, Surjeet Kumar, Additional SP, all Deputy SSPs and other officers and officials of CID SB Jammu.
Lauding the services of the retiring officers in the department, SSP CID SB Jammu and other officers wished them good health and peace of mind for rest of their life. The SSP also assured them all help at any time of their life, on behalf of the department. The retirees also shared their experiences.
District Administration Doda held an impressive function to bid farewell to outgoing Mohasib in Regional Director Land Survey and Records, Dev Raj Sharma, who got retired today after serving four decades in the district as revenue official. Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Imam Din, Additional DC Kishori Lal Sharma; ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, Tehsildar Doda Shabir Ahmed Malik and officials of revenue department were also present during the function. They extended their best wishes for future life of the retiring official.
