Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Oct 30: B K Chandan, Director Law Enforcement, J&K, who is going to retire tomorrow (31st October), was given a very warm and affectionate send off here at Krishi Bhawan today. Chandan is retiring from Government service after putting in more than 35 years of dedicated services to the farming community in different capacities in the Department of Agriculture.
Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare, K K Sharma wished a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Rajan Sharma, Deputy Director Central R K Hitashi, CAO Kisthwar Satish Kumar Bhagat, PPO Devinder Sharma, Deputy Director (Trainings) Deepak Kumar, all sectoral heads and president JKACLWU Devinder Singh Bittu also wished good health and prosperous retired life to the retiring officer.
Jammu police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line Jammu to bid adieu to the police officials namely SI Pawan Kumar, SI Ram Lal, SI Prabh Dayal, ASI Sewa Ram, ASI Joginder Paul Singh, HC Sunil Kumar and SPO Rj Kumar, who superannuated from their active services. The send-off function was chaired by SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta flanked by Deputy SP DAR K D Bhagat and other senior serving and retired police officers. SP Headquarters, while interacting with retiring police officers, wished them good health and long life for the next phase of their life.
A warm farewell was given to Head Master, Government High School Kalai, Javed Iqbal by prominent villagers, PRIs and teaching and non-teaching faculty of the School. Javed attained superannuation after rendering 35 years of unblemished services in the education department. Sarpanch of Kalai village, Feroz Un Nisa, SSP Muhammad Irshad, besides several other prominent personalities of village Kalai were present on the occasion.
Account Officer, Deputy Commissioner Office, Ramban, Harvinder Singh, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation, was given a warm send off by the Finance Department, in a farewell function. Various senior officers from the administration besides staff members attended the function wherein the Deputy Commissioner Mussarat Islam lauded the services of the retiring official who rendered more than 36 years of dedicated service in the Department. Additional Deputy Commissioner Harbans Lal, CPO Dr Kasturi Lal and Deputy DEO Lal Chand were also present.
