Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Feb 28: The University of Kashmir today accorded a warm farewell to Prof Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Dean College Development Council, on his superannuation. A modest farewell ceremony was chaired by Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Nilofer Khan in her office chamber. The VC and other members wished a happy post-retirement life to Prof Manzoor and acknowledged his services rendered to the University in different academic and administrative capacities, including Professor and Head, Department of Arabic.
SP College, Srinagar gave a warm send-off to two senior faulty members of the college Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar (Head, Department of Statistics) and Professor Mohammad Ashraf Wani (Department of Chemistry), Coordinator Examination Committee, who attained their superannuation today. Principal of the College Professor (Dr) Khurshid Ahmad Khan, other faculty members and non-teaching staff were present at the farewell event. They wished retirees happy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
Raj Kumari Kalsotra, a lecturer at Government Higher Secondary School, Khanna Chhargal, was accorded a warm send off on his retirement from service. A farewell function was organized by her colleagues in School premises. Her family members were also present on the occasion. Everyone wished the retiree luck for a healthy and prosperous future.
Joint Directorate of Information Kashmir accorded a warm and affectionate farewell to Assistant Information Officer, Bilal Ahmad Bhat on his superannuation today after rendering his service for four decades in the Department on various designations. In this regard, the Department organized a farewell programme to honour and bid warm adieu to the retiring official. Deputy Director, Information & Public Relations, Bilal Mukhtar wished the official a joyful post retirement life.
A function was organized today at Chief Agriculture Office (CAO) Reasi to accord farewell to Raj Kumar (SDAO Dharmari), who retired today after rendering more than 29 years of service in the Department of Agriculture. CAO Reasi Harbans Singh wished the retiring officer a very happy and healthy retired life. A memento was also presented to the retiring officer as a token of love.
On attaining the age of superannuation, ASI Azad Hussain were given a warm send off by all ranks of Kishtwar Police in a farewell party organized at GO’s Mess, DPL Kishtwar. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kishtwar Khaleel Ahmed Poswal extended good wishes to the retiree and wished for his healthy post retirement life. He also presented Retirement gift cheque of Rs 1 lakh to retiree officer.
A farewell party was organized today at IRP 1st Battalion Headquarters Reasi to give a warm send off to ASI Rattan Lal, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. Co of the Battalion RC Kotwal and other senior officers were also present in the farewell party. They wished the retiring officer sound health and prosperous retired life.
Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today organized an impressive farewell function upon superannuation of Follower Sohan Lal, who completed more than 38 years of service in Jammu and Kashmir Police. Shiv Kumar (SSP), Principal PTTI Vijaypur, as well as other officers of the Institute appreciated the services rendered by the retiree and wished him all the best for future life.
Non Teaching Employees Association (NTEAJ) SKUAST Jammu accorded warm send off to Darshan Kumar Raina (FCLA Division of VGO, FVSc & AH, RS Pura), who retired after attaining the age of superannuation today. The farewell was accorded in the presence of Dr M S Badwal Dean FVSc, KD Singh (president NTEAJ), Dr Vikas Sharma (president TAJ, SKUAST-J) and other senior faculty members.
Subhash Chander, Peon at Directorate of Command Area Development Jammu was given a warm farewell on his superannuation today. He rendered around 38 years of service in the Department. All his colleagues wished him good luck for his post-retirement life.
