Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Apr 30: A warm farewell was given to few officers and officials of District Police Jammu on their superannuation from service by the Jammu Police today.
The function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu. Officers and Jawans of District Police lines Jammu were present on the occasion. They wished retiring personnel for a happy and prosperous future life. They appreciated their services rendered for the general public of J&K State.
Speaking on the occasion the retiring personnel highlighted their service experiences and happenings and shared the same with the participants. At last each retiree was honoured with a cheque of Rs 50,000/- as retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund).
The retirees included SI Tara Chand, SI Daleep Singh, ASI Krishan Lal, ASI Kali Dass, ASI Karnail Singh and ASI Harbans Singh.
Sant Kumar, Head Draftsman, working in the office of the Chief Engineer, Ravi Tawi Irrigation Complex retired after putting in 39 years Government services, mostly in PHE Department. A farewell function was organized in RTIC Complex in his favour in which all staff members participated and wished him for a happy and prosperous retired life.
