JAMMU, Feb 1: J&K Bank bid a warm farewell to its General Manager Tabassum Nazir and one of its senior management functionaries, Vinod Kumar Sharma, who superannuated yesterday. In his message on the occasion, J&K Bank’s Executive Director Sudhir Gupta wished both the retirees a happy, healthy and fulfilling post retirement life.
The farewell function for Tabassum Nazir, held at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, was chaired by Executive Director (ED) Sudhir Gupta and attended by General Managers, Deputy General Managers and other senior officials. She served the institution with dedication for over 35 years in various key capacities.
The farewell function for Vinod Kumar Sharma, held at the Bank’s Jammu Divisional Office, was chaired by General Manager Ashutosh Sareen and was attended by Divisional Head (Jammu) Sunit Kumar, DGMs, and other senior officers, who acknowledged the outgoing officer’s long-standing contributions to the institution. Sharma was last posted as DGM (Law) at the Bank’s Supervision & Controls (S&C) Office, Jammu.
A farewell function for outgoing Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry Jammu Dr Waheeda Parveen was held today here at the Meeting Hall, Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Talab Tillo. Dr Waheeda retired from active service after serving the department for more than 35 years. Deputy Director (AH) Dr Adris Ahmed described the outgoing Director as an approachable and hardworking person. He along with other officers including Deputy Director (R&P), Deputy Director (P), Rinderpest Control Officer and Extension Officer of Publicity Wing, wished the outgoing Director good health and fruitful post-retirement life.
Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) bid adieu to retiring employee Maharaj Krishen Bhat, Accountant (Finance Department) at a farewell ceremony, held today in Jammu. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Joint Director Information Jammu Atul Gupta, Deputy Director (PR) Ankush Hans, Deputy Director (HQ) Varinder Gupta, Youth Information Officer Monika Sambyal and other officers/officials, who wished the retiree a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
A grand farewell function was organized to honor Mohd Yaqoob, a lecturer who retired from the School Education Department after rendering an exemplary service of approximately 33 years. The event was attended by Principals, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), lecturers, masters, teachers and prominent members of society, who wished the retiring lecturer a happy and healthy retired life.
