JAMMU, July 14: Monthly meeting of Retirees Police League District Jammu was held under the chairmanship of S Karanjit Singh, DSP retd & president of the League.
Main issues raised were the settlements of different issues pending in PHQ.
“There is discrepancy in pension among equal ranks. Some seniors are getting less pension than juniors. This is very burning and important issue. Representation were sent through proper channels including Finance commissioner to PHQ but there was no output. We request the DGP to look in to the issue on priorities,” the league said.
Members stressed on the need of providing medicines at Police Hospitals.
Moreover local police must inquire about the welfare of Retirees in their jurisdiction, the league said.
