Jammu, June 20: The retirees of Police League District Jammu today met here.
Meeting was organized and presided over by Karanjit Singh, DSP retd and president Retirees Police League District Jammu.
Main issues raised include that retirees should be given due respect by Police officers when they approach for small issues in concerned offices . During traffic checking there is unnecessary harrassment which can be avoided.
“We don’t violate traffic rules. Some relief be given in installation of new security number plates especially old vehicles. Area officers may some time join in the retirees meeting to know their welfare and problems, ” a release said.
Participants included SSP Ch Chirag Din SSP Makhan Lal Sharma, S P Som Raj Datta, S P V S Kundal Dy S P B L Kaul DyS P Mohinder Singh Kanwar Yoginder Singh, Kuldip Raj, Saudagar Mal Jangaral all DSPs and Insp Mohd Sadiq, vice president, Insp Shamsher Bhagat general Secretary and A S I Ashok Kumar Sharma.
