JAMMU, June 26: Government today issued an order canceling the retirement notifications in respect of Government servants.
According to an order, through various retirement notifications, the dates of retirement of KAS Officer, Under Secretaries, Private Secretaries, Administra-tive officers and officials from other cadres at the non-gazetted level, who were scheduled to retire in 2014 were notified.
Now the Government vide SRO-164 dated June 5, 2014 has made amendment in Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations whereby the retirement notification in respect of officers/officials who were scheduled to retire in June, 2014 and onwards in the year 2014 have been withdrawn/cancelled ab-initio.
This has been done in view of increase in the retirement age.
