JAMMU, Feb 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters (PHQ) today bid an impressive farewell to Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, who superannuated as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) PHQ this afternoon.
Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar, on the occasion, lauded the contribution made by Mr Bukhari during his service career of 37 years and said that he is amongst the most professional officers of the Organization.
Among others, the farewell function was attended by ADGPs, SP Vaid and Navin Aggarwal, IsGP, HK Lohia, AG Mir and SL Sharma, DIG, Viplav Kumar, Dir: Prosecution, Pawan Gupta, AIGPs, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, Tahir Sajad Bhat and Kulbir Singh, CEO, Omar Khan, Sr. ADO.
Manager of Punjab National Bank branch Rehari, Chowk Jammu, Mr Prem Parkash, who attained superannuation today was accorded a warm and affectionate send off by the Chief Manager Mr Rajinder and staff at a simple but impressive function. All wished Mr Prem a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off Assistant Registrars Mr Ram Gopal and Mrs Shashi, on their retirement today. President of the union Sunil Sahi hailing the contribution of the retirees, who served the University with honesty said, “It is because of their lifelong service and commitment that this institution has achieved success and is excelling ahead with confidence”. Other members of the Union were also present.
