JAMMU, June 30: Nisar Ahmed, IPS Deputy Inspector General of Police, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban, Range (Now Inspector General of Police), retired today from service on attaining the age of superannuation. He remained as DIG DKR Range from 02/02/2015 to till attaining superannuation, where he performed his duties with utmost interest /dedication /hard work.
Nisar Ahmed who hails from village (Gulpur) Ajote Tehsil Haveli District Poonch a law graduate was appointed as Dy.SP in Police Department on 25-06-1984 and by the dint of his hard work, he was inducted into IPS by the Union Government in the year 2006, with effect from 1999.
During his 33 years of Police services he remained posted on various important /key posts which includes DySP DAR, Udhampur, DySP Hqrs Rajouri, SDPO North Srinagar, DySP (pers) PHQ J&K, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, SSG J&K, SP CID CI Kashmir, SP- CID SB Jammu, Addl. SP Jammu, SSP Traffic Jammu, SSP CID SB Jammu, SSP Vigilance Jammu, SSP Ganderbal Srinagar, SSP CID Hqrs Jammu, SSP Vigilance Srinagar, SSP Crime Jammu as well as Commandant of JKAP 3rd Bn Srinagar, Commandant IR 5th Bn Srinagar, where his role was appreciated by senior officers.
Consulant Physician Specialist Doctor from Batote namely Dr Mashqoor Ahmed Mir achieved superannuation on 30th June . The doctor was given warm farewell at CHC Batote from where he retired.Various officials of the hospital staff and prominent people of civil society were present on the occasion who spoke about Dr Mir’s contribution to the healthcare and his successful tenure in various capacities from time to time.
Dr Mir besides being a local doctor hailing from Batote area of district Ramban is also a Known personality of the area and he received warm send off and greetings from all sections of the society along with the officials from the department including the health administration, doctors and the Para Medical staff.
Dr Bhuvneshwar Sharma today retired from the post of Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department Gah Kadal Office Srinagar. On the occasion of his superannuation all the employees of the department greeted Dr Sharma for his dedicated services. He was relieved from duty with a farewell party organised in the office.
Mohd Jahangir Khan, SSP, Principal STC Talwara superannuated from Government services today. In a farewell bid to retiring officer, a colourful function was organized at STC Talwara in which all staff members and trainees participated andextended good wishes and gave warm farewell to the retiree. The retiring officer rendered more than 35 years service in J&K Police Department and remained posted on important posts in different capacities.
Chander Bose, Nursery Registration Instructor in the Office of Chief Horticulture Officer, Jammu was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell in a simple but impressive function, who has attained superannuation on 30th June 2017 after rendering 35 years of dedicated service. The occasion was graced by the presence of Sh. SKUAST-NTEA-J accorded emotive and warm farewell to Mrs Shakti Saraf, Sr Stenographer Dean, FOA, SKUAST-J, Main Campus, Chatha on her superannuation today on 30-06-2017 after rendering dedicated services as stenographer in Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu. Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Nasib Singh, Section Officer, who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. The farewell was held in appreciation of his services rendered to the Institution. The function was attended by many employees of the University.

A farewell function was arranged in GHSS Mubarak Mandi Jammu to honour Mtr Nighat Parveen, senior lecturer in Education Department who superannuated today after rendering 36 years service in Government Education Department. PHE Department Drivers, Cleaners Union accorded warm send off to Tilak Raj Sharma, Mohd Amin, Nirmal Singh and Mohd Younis Chaffeurs anmd drivers of the department who retired today from PHE Division Poonch, Rajouri and PHE Division Mech South Division Jammu. Union chairman Kartar Chand Dubey while speaking on the occasion lauded the valuable services of retirees who were honoured in presence of senior officers. Advocate Harish Kaila, Gold Medalist Music Composer of Radio Kashmir Jammu retired today. He joined KV Sansanthan in 19896 as Music Teacher and afterwards joined All India Radio as Music Composer Grade-II in 1993 at AIR Station Ambikapur (MP) and upgraded to Music Composer Grade-I in December 1995. He is also founder member of Nami Dogri Sanstha.
A zonal level function was organised in CFC Dansal on the occasion of retirement of Mrs Kiran Bala, ZEO Dansal. Al the teachers of the zone participated in the farewell function and wished her a healthy post-retirement life. She joined the department in 1973 and served for 44 years.
Kasturi Lal Gupta, Headmaster, Government Middle School Boys, Latti (Dudu) in Udhampur district was accorded warm and emotional send off by staff and students of the school. Ravinder Kumar Koul, Chief Horticulture Officer Udhampur was accorded warm and affectionate farewell on his superannuation today. He was given farewell at a function organized at Horticulture Complex, Udhampur in which besides employees and officers, the prominent citizens also participated and wished a very happy and prosperous postretirement lfe to the retiree.

A warm send off was given to retiring Headmaster Om Parkash Sharma, Government High School Kaleeth (Jourian Zone) on attaining his superannuation today. He served the education department for about 37 years. The staff and students of the school and members of NGOs were present at his farewell.
