UDHAMPUR, Nov 8: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Ret Teachers Forum of District Udhampur, headed by Senior Vice Chairman of the Forum, Bhupinder Singh along with District president Udhampur, Kuldeep Katoch, called on newly appointed Chief Education Officer Udhampur, P D Sharma at his office and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
While interacting with the CEO, Bhupinder Singh raised the genuine issues of teaching fraternity faced at Zonal and District level, particularly the salary issue of NPS Teachers. He appealed CEO Udhampur to release the pending salary of NPS Teachers.
The CEO assured to resolve the genuine issues of teaching fraternity one by one and also said that he would listen to the grievances of each and every teacher of District Udhampur and try to solve the issue on spot.
The delegation comprised of Sanjeev Guleria, Summit Khajuria, Varinder Partap, Surinder Khajuria, Sachin Sharma, Angrez Singh, Bhim Singh, Hoshair Singh and others.
Earlier, the ReT Forum also held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of Bhupinder Singh, who urged the LG Administration to release the pending salary of NPS Teachers. He also voice other demands, which include converting all left out RReTs to Teacher Grade II and III, release of their pending arrears, regularizing the services of ReTs who have completed five years service.
