JAMMU, Jan 24: All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum has decided to hold a massive State level protest demonstration at Jammu in front of Governor House on 30th of January 2016 against the callous approach of the Education Department by issuing the order for the screening test for Distance mode degree holders.
This was announced by State president of the Forum, Vinod Sharna, along with the consultantion of State executive body members and the district presidents in a meeting at Jammu on Sunday.
Vinod Sharma said that the department was leaving no stone unturned to humiliate more than 65000 ReTs of the State who have been working in the far flung areas of the State for last more than 15 years and now they are being asked to qualify the screening test.
He said that only ReTs with distance mode degree are harassed and asked to qualify the screening test but at the same time the Government is appointing the employees having distance mode degrees.
Meanwhile the ReT Forum has also extended full support to the protest call of EJAC chairman Qayoom Wani at Srinagar and Leh on 30th of January 2016 for highlighting the issues of teaching fraternity.
