Revamping security framework

Sir,
Reference to two recent articles “Military modernization a casuality” DE Mar 11 and March 13″Defense needs more money.”
Both the luminaries have left nothing unsaid in their write ups on the ground reality existing in our state of preparedness on defense requirement, so vital for country’s survival.Sadly, as things surface, the  country has become breeding ground for anti national/social elements who in pursuit of a gameplan are engaged in scams even for procurement of arms for military needs. In fact, some black-sheep in higher-ups have sacrificed country’s interest and defeated spirit of nationalism and patriotism.
Undoing the damage caused by cancellation of procurement orders of arms already placed etc.in the absence of taking alternate measures to order new and effective armory and requisite training to forces swiftly and decisively is quite dangerous. This brooks no delay. Further, those responsible for having indulged in misdeeds should be tried for treason.
Procure best available weaponry and train our forces with matching ability on war footing. Build capacity to conduct the kind of covert operation that will result in demolishing enemy bases once for all and take fight to decisive end.
Yours etc…
