SRINAGAR, Sept 22: To ensure apt grievance redress mechanism in the Revenue Department, the Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir has urged the people to approach his office personally or send in writing their grievances on any issue pertaining to the Department under his charge.
Mr Mir said the people can send their complaints regarding any inordinate delay in issuance of State Subject Certificates to genuine applicants, land records and other revenue matters if the same are not attended to by the concerned field officers within stipulated time.
The Minister said the Department would ensure that all the genuine grievances/complaints are redressed in a time-bound manner so that people don’t have to run from the pillar to post to seek justice.
