Reverse migration

Sir,
This has reference to article titled “Reverse the 32 years exile of KPs” by Mr.Ashok Bhan.
The writer has very clearly highlighted the plights of KPs who were forced to leave their birth place Kashmir Valley under tragic circumstances.
While highlighting the plights of KPs who are yearning to return to their birthplace with high hopes in the present BJP regime, the writer has per chance not put forth the issue of immovable properties left out at the time of internal displacement and in cases having exchanged or sold out the properties in distress as at that point of time, the scanario was very bleak to return. The cases of retrieval of properties are pending before the DMs without any outcome. Even in cases where the applicants moved civil writ petitions and obtained orders from the HC are tasting the dirt of DM/DC offices without any relief in favour of claimants. Before any concrete step for rehabilitation is taken, such pending cases before the DMs are to be conclusively decided and all such locals who are in occupation of properties be evicted.
I feel, this issue to be highlighted by the learned who is a leading lawyer in the Supreme Court of India. He deserves all kudos for keeping alive the plights of KPs and their dream to return Kashmir without any further delay.
