Revisiting KP issue

Sir,
This is with reference to the article ‘Revisiting Pandit issues’ published in DE a couple of days ago. The author has drawn a clear picture of the high handedness of the State authorities particularly revenue authorities using uncivilised words like, ‘Mufroor’ meaning absconder  with the displaced Pandits, now in exile since 1990.
The writer has mentioned an incident of bandh call by separatists against Chief Minister’s and Prime Minister’s press conference in the matter of return of Pandits which was agenda of Alliance. The factual dimensions of return and rehabilitation of internally displaced slowed down later, outdated and hence forgettable due to the bandh call.
The learned writer in a realistic manner has genuinely asked the State rulers about two main issues, leaving return and rehabilitation apart.
The first basic issue concern the status of the community in the social structure of the State and the country as well. In this regard, he has cited an example,” The argument of  need of protecting the interests of J&K Muslim majority viz-a-viz Hindu dominated State.” The writer’s plea that the same has to apply to Kashmiri Hindus in justification of Art. 370 and this shall be in the interests of natural justice.
Secondly, the nomenclature of the community in forced exile, application of “Migrant as the determining term for the rooted out community mutilates its identity.
Yours etc….
