JAMMU, June 2: Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) has appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to revoke the disengagement order for need based, contractual, consolidated and such other categories of daily wagers.
In a handout INTUC State President, Shiv Kumar Sharma expressed solidarity with the aggrieved working class and said that instead of resolving unemployment crisis in the State the Government is aggravating the situation.
He also said that the daily wagers are even not paid their wages for months together.
The INTUC leader further said that keeping in view the hot weather conditions in Jammu region, the old practices of summer office timings should be restored.
