‘Modi for prosperity of JK people’

SRINAGAR, Mar 20: BJP JK UT president, Ravinder Raina today asked the youth to revolt against the gun culture which has eaten up vitals of society over last three decades.
Addressing a mammoth public rally at Batamaloo here, he said gun culture should end once for all which has ruined Kashmir as a whole. He asked the youth to compete in examinations at national and international level as this is the age of competition and assured full support from Government.
Maintaining that J&K has entered a new era of progress and prosperity under Narendra Modi, Raina said that corruption, nepotism and black marketing as well as politics of blackmail will not be allowed. He said every one irrespective of religion, region and caste will get their due as the Modi Government is for development and prosperity of the people of J&K. He said the UT is fast treading on path of progress and development as roads, bridges, highways, power projects, water supply schemes to provide safe drinking water to every household in the UT are under construction. New Medical colleges were established along with two AIIMS in the UT. The people were given free ration and free vaccine during COVID. Besides, the people were given golden cards, houses have been constructed for homeless and Janawashadi shops were opened in length and breadth of the UT where people get medicines at very cheap rates.
Raina said Narendra Modi Government is working keeping the Mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas in consideration. While referring to the problems of the Batamaloo residents and vendors, he termed the shifting of Bus Stand from Batamaloo to Parimpora in 2017 an injustice with the people of the area especially vendors.
Raina assured the people that he will take up this issue with the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and seek justice for the vendors of Batamaloo.
The rally was also addressed by general secretary, Sunil Sharma. While addressing the rally he urged people to strengthen BJP to get rid of their all problems.
BJP district president, Srinagar, Ashok Bhat who organized the rally also spoke on the occasion. Besides, the other local leaders were also present.
The vendors while highlighting their problems demanded allotment of space permanently to them and shifting of Bus Stand back to Batamaloo from Parimpora.
