JAMMU, Mar 6: A delegation of Village Agriculture Extension Assistant and Rehbar-e-Zirats (ReZs) led by State president, Dr Surinder Radotra, in coordination with State secretary (PDP) Ashok Jogi, met Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Nabi Lone here today and apprised him about various demands and grievances of Rehbar-e-Zirats.
The core issues involved during the discussion related to pension benefits and service count of Rehbar-e-Zirat with effect from April 1, 2007 on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Taleem. The discussion was also focused upon up-gradation of designation and pay scale from VAEA (9300-4200-34800) to Junior AEO (9300-4280-34800) due to similar nature of job profile and technical education.
After giving patient hearing, the Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Lone, assured full support for the cause of the matter and also assured that the second list will be published in time, and those who have completed their tenure of 84 months with continuous stipendiary benefits will be regularized as per Cabinet decision.
He assured that the matter will be discussed in Cabinet and the Cabinet Order will be followed in true letter and spirit.
