KATHUA, Dec 28: To commemorate valiant and supreme sacrifice of forest martyr Sham Singh, a symbolic plantation was carried out at his native village Dhore, Panjoor teh. Dinga Amb by ICELA .
On the occasion, prominent educationists Madan Singh and Sahib Singh exhorted masses to follow the path shown by late Sham Singh in line of protection of Green wealth by sacrificing his precious life while performing his duty and boldly objecting to illicit cutting of trees by unscrupulous ,anti social elements.
Family members of martyr namely Harbans Singh, Major Singh, Harnam Singh and Nagar Singh also remained present and expressed gratefulness to all and sundry for paying tribute to Martyr Sham Singh.
