Rich tribute paid to Rahul, other employees martyred last year

JAMMU, May 12: To pay homage to the five Government employees martyred in Kashmir in the last two years, a Shradhanjali Samaroh was organised by PM package employees on the first martyrdom day of Rahul Bhat here, today. Rich tribute were also paid to Deepak Chand Mehara, Rajni Bala, Supinder Kour and Vijay Kumar. Two minutes of silence was also observed in the memory of martyrs.
A Shradhanjali Samorah was attended by BJP state president, Ravinder Raina, BJP senior leader, Kavinder Gupta, BJP Kashmir Displaced District (KDD), president Chand Ji Bhat, BJP leader and Ex MLC Ajay Bharti, Social Activist and BJP leader, Hiral Lal Bhat, KPS president, KK Khosa, MK Yogi, socio political leader, members of PNBM trust, Kuldeep Raina, SL Koul, Prof AK Sadhoo, Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi, several other community members, employees and families of martyred employees.
While paying glowing tribute to martyred employees, UT president, BJP, Ravinder Raina said that Rahul Bhat, Rajni Bala and Deepak Chnad Mehara made supreme sacrifices for the nation as these employees were brutally killed in the line of duty. He also said that killing of employees on chairs in their offices is not only highly condemnable but also against humanity. “I can realise the depth of pain which is faced by the families of martyred employees,” he said and added that the demand of relocation after the killing of Rahul Bhat was reasonable keeping in view the security of minority employees working in the Valley.
Senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta also paid tribute to employees and said that the pain suffered by the families of Rahul, Rajni and Deepak is unending but the whole society is with them in this grief. He held sympathizers of Pakistan responsible for the killings of minorities in the Valley. KPS president KK Khosa also paid floral tribute to the employees and urged the Government to resolve all issues of employees without any further delay.
Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram held a special prayer meet in memory of the departed souls.
Earlier, employee leader, Rubon Saproo while paying respect to the martyred employees said that the brutal killings of their junior colleagues has given them pain and sufferings which will never end. He said that the package employees are living in fear and need Government attention to consider their prime demand which can ensure safety to employees and their families.
Another prayer meeting and candle march was held by employees at Sheikhpora Budgam and payer meeting was also held at Vessu to pay tribute to the employees.
