JAMMU, Feb 15: Ridhima Bajpai, Ashwar and Suhani Abrol emerged winners in the sub junior category of solo singing event organized during Grand Finale of Dance and Singing Competition by Shree Ganesh Entertainments at Government Polytechnic College here today.
In Solo Singing (junior), Mavish Sharma, Bhawana Bharti and Shivam Mahaldhar claimed first, second and third positions respectively. In Senior Singing (Solo), Chandan Lalotra, Sahil Rashid Dar and Sheikh Abdul Rafee claimed top three positions.
In Solo Dance (junior), Saral Gupta, Rekha Thakur and Aashima Raina claimed first, second and third positions respectively. In Solo Dance (senior), Rajat Paul, Mohit Thappa and Mukesh Kumar emerged winners.
Duet Dance, Varun and Hamen emerged winner. In Group Dance, Amit and group claimed first ranks and Simranjeet and group secured second position.
On the occasion, Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu West was the chief guest and guest of honours were Sohail Kazmi and Dr Daleep Pandita, Divisional Manager, The New India Assurance Co Limited, whileas Qayoom Manhas, presided over the function. Tanveer Dar, Actor/Director and Deepak Bradu, Actor/Director were special guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that such kind of events will give opportunity to budding artists to express their talent in the field of dance and singing.
On the occasion, the jury members were Deepak Raghuvanshi, Singer, Ravi Raghuvanshi, Singer and Amit Dubey, Choreographer.
Among others present were MK Karihullo, President, Usha Karihullo, general secretary, Prashant Sharma, event coordinator, Aman Famyial, event designer, Kiran Meenia, publicity coordinator, Nishu Pandita, marketing executive, Palvi Sharma and Ishani Paul, executives.
