HYDERABAD, Nov 27: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) , known as Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), received the prestigious ”Star Performer” awards in the category of Large Enterprise in Export of Basic Iron & Steel for the financial years 2019-20 & 2020-21.
The awards were received from Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at a function organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India in New Delhi.
In a release here, the VSP said during an interaction with the International Trade Division (exports division) officials, Head of the Marketing department and other senior officials of Marketing at RINL on Monday, RINL Chairman and Managing Director Atul Bhatt along with DK Mohanty, Director (Commercial), RINL appreciated the sustained initiatives being taken by the International Trade Division (Exports Division) of RINL to improve its presence in the international market.
These awards are presented to any organisation which has excelled in International trade and for successful export performance.
It may be noted that products of RINL are highly renowned in the international market for its excellent quality and delivery schedule.
It may be noted that RINL exported products worth Rs.1623 Crores in the FY 2019-20 and Rs. 3941 Crores in the FY 2020-21. (UNI)
