RKJ & JKAACL organize Dogri Mushaira in memory of Dinu Bhai Pant

JAMMU, July 24: Radio Kashmir Jammu (RKJ) and Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) today organized a Dogri Mushaira in the loving memory of Late Dinu Bhai Pant at KL Saigal Hall, Jammu.
Dr Lalit Magotra, Senior litterateur and multi-faceted personality of Dogri Literature presided over the function, whileas Soujanaya Sharma, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation was the chief guest. Rahul Pant, Senior Advocate was the guest of honour, whereas VK Sambyal, Director, RKJ and Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, JKAACL were also present.
Delivering his presidential address, Dr Lalit said that both of the-premier organizations are doing good jobs for the last some time. He further stated that today’s mushaira was a tribute to Late Dinu Bhai Pant.
Soujanaya Sharma while speaking said that today’s Dogri Mushira organized jointly by the Academy and Radio Kashmir, Jammu was of high merit. The senior poets who read out their poems were of high standard and are associated with the social concern.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Pant expressed gratitude to the JKAACL and RKJ for organizing this Mushiaira in loving memory of his father.
Prof Shiv Nirmohi, a renowned writer of Hindi/Dogri readout a detailed paper on the life and works of Late Dinu Bhai pant.
Those who participated in the Mushaira were ND Jamwal, Prakesh Premi, Mohan Singh, Gianeshwer Sharma, Abhishap, Dhian Singh, Dr Champa Sharma, Darshan Darshi, Vijaya Thakur, Usha Kiran Kiran, Sunita Badhwal, Urmala Manash and Surinder Sagar.
Earlier, VK Sambyal presented the welcome address, whereas in the end, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn presented vote of thanks.
Sanjeev Sharma, Programme Executive, RKJ conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Among others present were Dr Nirmal Vinod, Satish Vimal, Jugpal Singh, Raj Rahi, Deepak Badyal, Prof Rita Jatindra, Dr Vijay Seth, Shiv Dev Singh Susheel, Capt Lalit Sharma, Brij Mohan and family members of Late Dinu Bhai Pant.
