SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Radio Kashmir Srinagar today held a special Mulaqaat programme with veteran Kashmiri writer, poet and Sufi thinker Professor Rasheed Nazki at Bandipora in which he was honored and felicitated.
Organizer of the programme Satish Vimal welcomed the guests and presented a brief profile of Prof Nazki. Dr. Ayaz Rasool Nazki presented a paper on the personality of Prof Rasheed Nazki while as Dr. Mashal Sultanpuri highlighted the creative contribution of Nazki in the field of Sufism, poetry, criticism, lexicography and education.
Eminent writers Abdul Ahad Hajni and Mohammad Ahsan Ahsan also spoke on the occasion. Professor Rasheed Nazki also spoke on the occasion.
Famed folk singer Gulzar Ahmad Ganai and party mesmerized the audience by his musical presentation of Nazki’s philosophical and devotional lyrics. Syed Humayon Qaiser presented the vote of thanks.
