SRINAGAR, May 9 : National general secretary and chief spokesperson of the Rashtriya Lok Jan Shakti Party, Sanjay Saraf held discussions with the RLJSP executive committee of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT), followed by meetings with district presidents and block committees.
The purpose of these discussions was to explore the party’s support for candidates, as the RLJP isn’t fielding its own candidates for all three Parliamentary constituencies in Kashmir.
During a press conference held after these series of meetings, Sanjay Saraf praised Altaf Bukhari and announced the party’s support for his candidates in the Srinagar Parliamentary constituencies. This indicates a strategic alignment between the RLJSP and Bukhari’s candidates for these seats.
Saraf showered praise on Bukhari, highlighting his dedication to addressing the diverse issues faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Saraf emphasized that Bukhari’s approach is inclusive, considering the sentiments and aspirations of all residents, regardless of their background, be it colour, caste, creed, or religion.
He commended Bukhari’s focus on crucial issues, particularly during a time when other regional political parties were primarily concerned with seeking power. Instead, Bukhari prioritized the fundamental needs of the people, advocating for their land and job rights. Saraf noted that Bukhari’s efforts in this regard resulted in assurances from the Central Government, indicating his effectiveness in advocating for the rights and welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Saraf lauded Bukhari for his humanitarian actions, specifically mentioning his assistance to the families of individuals who are enduring hardship. This demonstrates Bukhari’s compassion and commitment to supporting those in need within the community, further solidifying his standing as a leader who genuinely cares for the welfare of the people he serves.
