JAMMU, Apr 28: “Asi Aisey tu Asi Asav” a mystic and Sufi musical concert under the aegis of Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi for the year 2022-23 was presented by RMK Arts & Research Foundation, at Writers Club Auditorium, Abhinav Theatre, here .
The concert was aimed to preserve the Jammu & Kashmir’s rich Sufi/ Rishi Parampara of 5000 years & Art & Cultural Heritage, emphasised on revival of all dying forms of folk, Sufi / Mystic Poetry. The Sufi/ mystic music concert with a few devotional dance items was presented before jam packed audience with the most selective mystic/ Sofi poetry/ songs of some of most famous Hindu and Muslim saints/ Sufi poets and poetess like Lalded , Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (Nund Reshi), Master Zind Koul, Niyam Sab, Samad Mir, Swani Govind Koul, Swami Parmanad, Mahmood Gami, Ahad Zargar, Rupa Bhawani, Arnimal and Rasool Mir. The concert was presented by some senior artists and young budding singers who have been regularly learning music in workshop held by RMK Foundation. The aim of the concert was also to connect our younger generation to its cultural & historical roots and inculcate in them the Sanskars to know their Rishi’s-Sagas, Saints and Sufis Parampara.

The Concert started with Sharda Satuti by Dr. Deepali Wattal and classical dance by Pooja Raina.
The Music of concert was composed and conducted by Senior and approved Grade 1 Music Director, Kuldeep Saproo and president RMK Arts and Research Foundation. The live performance singers were Zulekha Fareed, Shanti Sidh, Shreya Gurtu, Simran Gurtu, Gandharva Kaloo, Vishwas Pandita. The playback singers were Dr. Deepali Wattal, Rabjot Singh, Rakesh Kumar and chorus singers were Simran and Shreya Gurtu sisters. The musicians were Vijay Anand on Tabla, Vicky Gill on Synthsizer and Rakesh Jasotra on Flute. The dance items were presented by senior artists Suman Pandita, Pooja Raina, Shaista. Choreography by Pooja Raina. The Stage was managed by senior actor and director of J&K, Vijay who is also general secretary RMK Arts and Research Foundation and photography by Kamal Ganjoo.
