REASI, July 6: In a tragic accident, a Government teacher and his one year old son died while his wife and two children among five others were seriously injured when their car rolled down in a deep gorge at Gundi Nallah, Thakrakote, near Panasa, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle JK20- 7748 (Wagon R) was on way from Mahore to Panasa when it skidded off the road and slipped into around 200- feet deep Gorge.
The deceased were identified as Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Abdulla of Jamslan and his one year old son Adnan. Mohd Ashraf was driving the car and he along with his son died on the spot while others sustained critical injuries. They were rushed to District Hospital Reasi and their condition was stated to be serious.
The injured were identified as Parvin Akhtar (30), wife of Mohd Ashraf of Jamslan (also teacher by profession), her six -year old daughter Amreena Kousar and four- year old son Wajahat; Mohd Farooq (45), son of Abdul Rashid of Chajrru, Saqib, son of Master Qasim.
